Well, this is it. Last workout here on the homefront. I hit the road in about 90 minutes, setting up a long day of travel. I'll get to Clearwater around 10:30 or 11 tonight. But it'll be worth all the miles. This morning was a cancelled swim, and a quick run with a couple of pick-ups to get things loose. All feels good, except for the breathing. Not that I'm struggling, but I can feel a difference from when I'm 100%. Not much I can do about it now. I'll drink lots of OJ on the plane, rest as much as possible, and hope the tropicalness of the Gulf Coast has some magical healing properties.
I don't know what my internet access will be like for the next few days, so even if you don't hear from me, assume all is well, and check me out on Saturday.
Run: 3 miles @ 7.5 mph, w/2x90 seconds @ 8.5 mph, 3 minute recovery
Get out there and kick some ass. I'll be hitting "refresh" every 5 seconds Saturday morning.
