How much do you love getting stronger? The list of things better is pretty short (and most of them can't be discussed on a family blog). But this morning was a good round of showing that fitness is coming back.
Yet another appointment with Coach Troy, another pass at Have Mercy, The Sequel. And I knocked this one out of the park. I averaged 7 watts higher than last time (219w), and my average heart rate was 3 beats per minute lower (152 bpm). I think that's some pretty good evidence that I'm getting stronger. Once I turn this into long-range threshold power, I'll be making good time all through the season. I think top 5 T1 to T2 in most races is a reasonable target.
