According to the Canadian groundhogs, Spring is on its way. Of course they'd claim this the day after the biggest storm of the winter; anything now is an improvement. Who knew weather-forecasting rodents would play the odds like that?
Since it is still winter, I'm still on the trainer (where I figure to be until April-ish). And by on the trainer, I mean, "in Germany". I did the last 3/4ths of the Roth Ironman Ergovideo, at -30%. This made for an almost two-hour ride, in mostly zone 2, with a few moments down to 1 or up in 3. It's still early in the season, so rides like this are what I need. Just saddle time, some moderately harder work, but mostly just fun.
And as long as I'm riding, it's fun.
Bike: 105 minutes, zone 1-3

Spring can't come soon enough.
Due to the previous mentioned overtraining, I took the past two days extremely easy. Active recovery level easy with strictly enforced upper bounds on power.
Today though, today was the CTS TT DVD again. And I got owned. Again.
The good news is that Chris Carmichael himself says that I "deserve a really nice dinner". So homemade Thai food it is!
Good job keeping it easy. That's what to do when you've overstepped your recovery abilities.
How does one get "owned" by a TT DVD? Did you at least finish it? In which case, you're still ahead of me and my first two attempts at "The Pyrenees Stage". I'd never had to get off the bike in defeat before that.
