A lot of fast swimming today. We were doing a lot of sets on 1:50, which is the fastest we've ever had to do repeats. Granted, we get a recovery break after every few, but it's still tough once you're past the first couple of reps. I was able to hold 1:38 or better, giving me 12+ seconds of rest on each, which was just enough to be ready to go again. I tried to focus on keeping a good long stroke and getting speed from that, rather than upping my turnover and not finishing. It worked, so I like getting the reinforcement of what's working.
